Experts from National Associations attending UNEP’s ECA network meeting are awarded a Diploma for successfully completing the F-Gas Regulations course.

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and joined forces to provide experts from different national refrigeration and air conditioning associations with training courses on the F-Gas Regulations.

The courses were provided in both Russian and English versions and offer a cost-effective way to train engineers in the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump sector as part of national hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) phase-out management plans across many countries.

Vasil Ciconcov, president of the National Association of RAC technicians of Macedonia said “it was a very good opportunity for all UNEP members to access the F-Gas regulations material to update knowledge in a very convenient set up”.

A recommendation to produce Serbian and Croatian language versions of the eLearning material was also put forward. Star’s eLearning platform will continue to cooperate with RAC national associations to translate the training material into the different languages.
